Abstract
Tragedy, by definition, is an event that causes great suffering. It is often sudden, usually unpredictable, and no one is immune.
Examples include earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, flooding, severe droughts, epidemic infections, and large-scale environmental poisoning.
Regardless of what kind of misfortune happens to have struck and under whatever circumstances, every tragedy that we suffer in life impacts us through a common pathway.

Biography
Alphonsus Obayuwana is a physician-scientist, Titan Literary Award-winning author, founder, and CEO of the Triple-H Project, USA.
He was on the teaching faculty at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, University of Maryland College of Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the University of Toledo before his retirement in 2020.
Dr. Obayuwana is also a retired Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and has been a contributor to Psychology Today.
